Louisville Students Get a Special Dance Lesson from the Stars of Beauty and the Beast
Brian Martin, Laura Douciere, Jimmy Larkin & students from Lincoln Elementary School

If there’s one combination that always goes together, it’s kids and Disney shows. That formula proved true on when cast members of the national tour of Beauty and the Beast visited the students of Lincoln Elementary School October 25. The kids were treated to a special dance lesson from Brian Martin, Laura Douciere and Jimmy Larkin, who taught them the choreography to the show’s trademark production number “Be Our Guest.” The performers also talked to the young audience about acting and answered their questions about life in the theater. Earlier in the week, 50 of Lincoln’s second and third graders attended a performance of Beauty and the Beast, on behalf of the Louisville Theatrical Association's Education Program and the Fund For the Arts. Check out this photo of the enthusiastic youngsters with the cast. Get your tickets to this family-friendly musical, which is playing at the Kentucky Center through October 28,
