About the Show
The national tour of Million Dollar Quartet is burning up the Kentucky Center stage with the classic rock ‘n’ roll hits of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins. Yet setting one stage aflame isn’t enough for the stars of the national tour, so James Barry, Cody Slaughter, David Elkins and Ben Goddard headed over to Louisville’s Hard Rock Cafe on February 12 for a bonus jam session. The stars (yes, they play their own instruments) riled up the crowd with “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Folsom Prison Blues” and “Great Balls of Fire.” After the gig, the boys were given keepsakes so that they would always remember the Derby City—Louisville Sluggers, of course! Check out the actors in costume as Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis with their baseball bats, then come see them hit a home run at the Kentucky Center in Million Dollar Quartet through February 17.
